Breakfast at a favorite coffee place, ice skating, hot cider, frozen feet, gift exchanges and catching up with friends.

To get in the Christmas mood, Godmother and I took daughter to see the play "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever". We had ginger tea and nice conversations.

To get in the Christmas mood, husband took son to see "Rammstein", the least Christmassy band. Ever.

Christmas Market at Castle Hohenzollern

 Supposedly it is the most beautiful of all Christmas markets. Only open for one weekend, it is rather surreal eating cinnamon waffles and drinking hot mulled wine in such a surrounding.

Happy Turkey Day!

Again, it has been a challenge for husband but I think he pulled it of perfectly. Thanksgiving is a normal school day for the kids in Europe so he had to juggle with the time. Then there is the issue with our kitchen. It is tiny, tiny, tiny. He had to manage with 2 pots and 2 pans. But he did it...like every year: a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Home cooked by him.

Alter Bridge

It is not a good idea to let husband touch, hold or play a guitar. Because then he needs to have it. And we have no more space for guitars. Not even for an absolutely perfect guitar designed by Mark Tremonti.

Fall

I think that might have been our last sunny day this fall. Fairy godmother, daughter and I enjoyed it very, very much.

Halloween

and days later, I am still finding candy wrappers everywhere.

Work - Work - Work

I have been seeing the inside of planes a lot this month, working the dreaded early shift. I think I kind of missed out on fall this year! The pictures of this hike were taken over 2 weeks ago! :(
