Steve Stevens And Billy Idol Or How Daughter And Husband Would Look Like If They Were In A Band...
Before the Billy Idol Concert daughter was allowed to check out the instruments of the members in the band.
And so was husband, who secretly wishes he would have moved to LA in the 80's and become a rockstar.
Of course, he denies it, but I am quite certain.
I also think that Steve Stevens should have played Tom Cruise's role as a rockstar in the movie "Rock of Ages". He would have been a lot more believable.

Backstage At Rammstein
To get in the Christmas mood, Godmother and I took daughter to see the play "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever". We had ginger tea and nice conversations.
To get in the Christmas mood, husband took son to see "Rammstein", the least Christmassy band. Ever.
Sold out concert...
...lots of fire on stage...
... son and guitar players Paul H. Landers...
...and Richard C. Kruspe.

Bon Jovi ~ Look Who Got To Play Richie Sambora's Guitar ~
I was supposed to go to this concert, too, but couldn't make it because of work. Like many other times. Being a bit jealous I am standing in the cabin, serving lunch in first class when I notice a few tough looking guys with tatoos and cool t-shirts. They look quite different than every other first class passenger.
"Do you know who they are?", I ask my colleague while getting ready to serve the drinks. "I have no idea", she answers, "but they are very, very polite".
When I get to the first heavy metal looking guy I tell him "you look like you are in a band", which makes him smile. "Slayer", he grins.
Husband is going to be so jealous!

Filter In Concert
Daughter loves going to concerts, especially when there is an all access pass involved. Because backstage means an endless supply of apple juice and gummi bears.
Sometimes the smaller concerts turn out to be the most memorable ones. If you get the chance you should definitley check out the band "Filter". The singer is the guy who doesn't want to get off stage no matter how exhaused his fellow band members are.
Concert pics by daughter. She clearly liked Phil Buckman (bass) best.

3 Doors Down
When husband called and asked if we wanted to go to the 3 Doors Down concert we spontaniously decided that work and everything else had to wait and joined him.
After downing a few energy drinks we were ready to party...
